Saturday 13/04 – Arrival at the Port of Algeciras; Cruise by ferry boat from Spain to Morocco; Customs formalities; Departure to Chefchaouen (considered as the “Blue City” is one of the prettiest towns in Morocco surrounded by the majestic Rif mountains); Guided tour in Chefchaouen with Official Guide (in the morning); Departure to Meknès (one of the imperial cities of Morocco founded by Moulay Ismail in the XVII century, it is classified as World Heritage site by UNESCO); Guided tour in Meknès with Official Guide; Departure to Fez (the world’s most intact medieval Arab city); Check-in Hotel; Free time.
Sunday 14/04 – Guided tour in Fez with Official Guide (in the morning); Free time.
Monday 15/04 – Check-out Hotel (early morning); Departure to the Sahara Desert, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you have an opportunity to enjoy beautiful landscapes; On the way you can appreciate the architecture of Ifrane (known as “little Switzerland” or “Moroccan Switzerland”); Passing the National Park of Ifrane you can find beautiful cedar forests littered with curious and friendly monkeys looking for a hand-out; Movement of Nomad families will be an added flavor depending on the season of travel; Stop in the Ziz Valley (your cameras will shoot non-stop in this landscape with palm tree oasis); Arrival in the Sahara Desert (Merzouga); Free time at the Riad (with swimming pool) or optional program > Tour by 4×4 in the Sahara Desert; An unforgettable camel adventure starts by afternoon, crossing the fantastic Erg Chebbi sand dunes; On the way, we stop to rest and enjoy a unique sunset; The ride continues to the camp (in the middle of the desert), where a magical night begins with a wonderful dinner; Post dinner, we continue to the night party with Berbers playing local music around the fire under the amazing starry sky.
Tuesday 16/04 – Waking up in the early morning to contemplate an unforgettable sunrise; Breakfast in a tent restaurant or open air; Departure by camel to the Riad and then departure to Todra Gorge (this spectacular geological formation carved by the River Todra, forming a deep gorge flanked by steep cliffs of unique beauty); Visit the Studios Atlas (cinema scenarios where several movies were recorded: Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Astérix and Obélix, Babel, Prince of Persia, Game of Thrones etc); Visit the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou (considered the “village of cinema”, it has one of the largest and well-preserved fortresses in Morocco classified as World Heritage site by UNESCO); Guided tour in Ksar Ait Ben Haddou with Official Guide; Check-in Riad; Free time.
Wednesday 17/04 – Check-out Riad; Departure to Marrakech (is a delight to be surrounded by history, singular architecture, tradition and hospitality) crossing the High Atlas Mountains where you can observe traditional Berber villages, indigenous Berber culture and beautiful lush valleys; Stop (around 2200 meters above the sea level) to take the gulp of fresh air from the mountains where during some seasons of the year you can see and touch snow; Check-in Hostel; Guided tour in Marrakech with Official Guide (in the afternoon); Free time.
Thursday 18/04 – Free time in Marrakech or optional program > Ouzoud Waterfalls* (one of the largest natural attractions in the country, are located 150 km from Marrakech and form the largest waterfalls in North Africa with more than 100 meters in height), includes transportation by bus and Guided tour with Official Guide; Return to Marrakech; Free time.
Friday 19/04 – Check-out Hostel; Departure to Casablanca (the largest city in Morocco, with a population around 3.9 million of citizens. It is the country’s economic and cultural capital); Visit to the enormous and incredible Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca; Departure to Rabat (the capital of Morocco, where you can find a fertile exchange between the Arab-Muslim past and Western modernism); Guided tour in Rabat with Official Guide (in the afternoon); Departure to Asilah (a picturesque and fortified fishing village washed by the Atlantic Ocean); Check-in Hostel; Free time.
Saturday 20/04 – Free time in Asilah (where you can swim in the Atlantic Ocean, visit the town, shop in the Medina or just relax); Hostel Check-out; Departure to Tangier (guarding the Strait of Gibraltar, Tangier has for centuries been Europes’s gateway to Africa. Its a blend of cultures and it´s influence is unique in Morocco); Guided tour in Tangier with Official Guide; Departure to Ceuta (strategic point of commercial routes during the age of the discoveries.
